We spent Christmas down the coast at Lake Tabourie, and thought that we’d stop by Jamberoo on our way back home to scout out locations for Grace and Shem’s wedding photos. Grace had given us an address – a friend of her Grandparents.
So, we arrived on that hot day.
He kindly showed us around the property, and was happy for us to use his property to take photos, but also suggested the farm down the road (the road had some lovely bends – also perfect for what we were looking for).
Karl and I drove down, and knocked on the door. Again, we were greeted by some more hospitable folk. They were more than happy for us to look around their wonderful property. We listened as they told us about their lives in the area and showed us birds nests and wedding photos of friends and family who were married on their property. They had an amazing pumpkin patch which we would use to take some stunning photos of Grace. For a moment, I wanted to live there.
There was only one more house that we wanted to approach. It was preceded by the most beautiful tree-lined drive-way that we just had to photograph.
And so, we spent that afternoon in Jamberoo, knocking on doors, greeted with hospitality and filled with ideas for Grace and Shem’s wedding photos.
